How often do you train your chest in a week?

Twice because it is my weakest body part.

What are your 3 best/favourite chest exercises?

What are your top 3 tips when training your Chest?

  1. Focus on just using the chest muscles.
  2. Pin your shoulders back and retract your shoulder blades before you begin.
  3. Stretch your chest muscles between sets.

In your opinion, which is the most common Chest exercise that people do incorrectly? And how can they fix it?

Incline DB press. They use a lot of the shoulder muscles, in particular the anterior deltoid. I was guilty of this. Keep your shoulders pressed backwards onto the bench when pressing the weight up.

What does a typical Chest workout look like for you?

  • Incline DB press
  • Machine chest press
  • Incline DB fly
  • Dips
  • DB pullover

That is a basic version and it changes week to week.

Abs:

How often do you train your abs in a week? Do you do them on a day of their own or after a bigger muscle group?

Twice a week after cardio in the morning.

What are your top tips to getting shredded abs?

Make sure you diet correctly and have a good training and cardio plan. The ab exercises you choose will help a little. But you need to make sure your overall body fat levels are low.

What are your 4 favourite ab exercises?

  1. Hanging straight leg raises
  2. Hanging knee raises to the side
  3. Windmills
  4. Reverse cable crunch

In your opinion, what mistakes do people usually make when training abs? And how can they fix them?

They do hundreds of sit ups. Sit ups aren’t a very effective exercise and for me I have found that it is quality over quantity with abdominal training. I rarely go above 15 reps because I’m contracting them so hard, I cant make it past 15 reps in a set.

  • Reverse cable crunch
  • Weighted side oblique bends
