We also upload many videos to our 2 Youtube channels (Motivation and Media) and have compiled a video index for ease of reference.

We also support a great initiative, Food For Life South Africa, which currently distributes approximately 10 000 plates of vegetarian food per day to the poverty stricken people of Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and surrounding areas all over South Africa. Hi there, my name is Nishal and I run FitNish.com. Learn more about me.

I have been involved in fitness and health in some way for the past 10+ years and I have competed in a few bodybuilding competitions, as well as tried many different forms of training.


The 3 core reasons for starting this site were, and remain:

1. Motivation. To provide people with some sort of motivation to help keep them going when it gets tough and to help get them started with the right mindset. When I was pretty much clueless I turned to motivational posters, quotes and videos to get my mind focused and and in the right zone to keep moving forward.

2. Promotion of the AthletesThe fitness athletes get way too little credit in my opinion so by featuring them on here, they get a little exposure while at the same time other people can learn from their experiences and pick up a few great tips, which is how we all start and learn.

3. Information. To be able to provide people with the right information in order to help them throughout their fitness and health journey. We never stop learning and thus there is always something new to try and read about.
