Pressed for time or don’t feel like going to the gym to do cardio? Well here’s a great cardio routine which is quick and effective. No equipment is needed, just your body and your will to do it! It’s short (only about ten minutes!) but intense, and it will get your heart right rate up.
So you will basically be doing 4 exercises (the fifth one is optional) one after each other with no rest in between. Each exercise will be for ten repetitions, but you can adjust this to suit you, and as you get fitter you can increase this number. Once you have done each exercise you can rest for one minute and then go at it again. Do this 4 – 5 times.
The exercises:
- Burpees
- Knee ups
- Alternating jumping lunges
- Stationary crocodile push ups
- Pull ups (optional)
