Organic Peanut butter is a great super food, filled with good monounsaturated fats, protein, vitamins B3 and E, magnesium, folate, dietary fiber, resveratrol arginine, and high levels of the antioxidant p-coumaric acid.
But for some people it can be slightly difficult to eat on its own or even with bread in a sandwich due to its thick and chewy nature.
Also, many people are not very aware of what they can actually mix it with to make a great quick and easy snack or meal. A few examples could be, adding it to smoothies, to your cereal (oats, granola etc), to cottage cheese, and many more.
Here is a simple solution to make your peanut butter easier to use, and easier to mix with a wide variety of ingredients.
- First scoop the amount of peanut butter which you want to use, into a glass bowl.
- Then microwave it for approximately 30 seconds, which should make it nice and soft and mixable.
- Add a dash of milk and mix with the peanut butter.
- Then add your oats, or whatever else you want to eat it with, or even spread it on whole wheat toast.
This will make it much easier to eat without it getting stuck in your teeth as well as allowing it to mix well with pretty much anything.
