<h2>Quick STATS</h2>

<strong>Occupation:</strong> <span style="color: #000000;">Sponsored athlete with EVOLUTION SPORTS NUTRITION and marketing executive with the same.</span></p></blockquote>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Tell us a bit about your life growing up:</h2>
<p>Born and brought up in Mumbai, my mom is herself a fitness instructor and my father is into social anti corruption (more on social service side). I was a lazy geek girl who used to study, get back home and do nothing else.</p>
<p>When I got into standard 9 that’s when I started taking some interest in sport and playing volleyball for school and then for college and on different levels. Post that I got into football refereeing and started playing and coaching as well, for different clubs in Mumbai.</p>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/21720_998225376863211_3699003863572084803_n.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9505" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/21720_998225376863211_3699003863572084803_n.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="599" height="960" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/21720_998225376863211_3699003863572084803_n.jpg 599w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/21720_998225376863211_3699003863572084803_n-187x300.jpg 187w" sizes="(max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Have you always lived a fit lifestyle? What got you started?</h2>
<p>As mentioned earlier I did get into sports in my schooling days, but it was just for the sake of that. So I went to the first bodypower expo that happened in Mumbai and looking at the fit females around, I wondered why can&#8217;t I be there as well?</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">How do you manage to stay motivated and consistent throughout your training and eating right? Do you think it requires a lot of sacrifices?</h2>
<p>My parents are the first reason, my mum&#8217;s 45 but looks like she is in her teens. The mirror plays a big role. I look at myself and when I see changes in my body it keeps me going and wanting to become better and better everyday and achieve my desired bikini body.</p>
<blockquote><p>Yes it does need a lot of sacrifice, but when it&#8217;s for the best its all goes with a smile.</p></blockquote>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta5.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9512" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta5.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="1201" height="1001" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta5.jpg 1201w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta5-300x250.jpg 300w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta5-1024x853.jpg 1024w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta5-600x500.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1201px) 100vw, 1201px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What are your future plans?</h2>
<p>Planning to compete internationally in coming years, say in the next 2-3 years.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Have you had any major setbacks in your life and how did you overcome them?</h2>
<p>Not really, I have always been supported by my family and my friends as they know this is what I desire to do.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Take us through an average day of yours:</h2>
<blockquote><p>My day starts with training at times in the morning, prepping meals for the day and then work. I get done and then go and train in the night around 10 and get back home by 12 and then chill for a while and sleep.</p></blockquote>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta3.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9510" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta3.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="802" height="842" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta3.jpg 802w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta3-286x300.jpg 286w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta3-600x630.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 802px) 100vw, 802px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What are your top Nutrition tips for the ladies for keeping in shape all year round?</h2>
<ul>
<li>Eat right to look right.</li>
<li>Eat junk and look like a ballon (might sound rude but thats what I think).</li>
<li>Not eating and starving is the worst thing anyone could do.</li>
</ul>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Do you follow quite a strict diet? Give us a brief description of your philosophy on your diet:</h2>
<p>Yes I do follow a diet but it only really gets strict during the season when I prepare to compete. It certainly depends on my goal and in terms on supplements I use my ESN products such as LEAN WHEY, BCAA and GLUTAMINE.</p>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/10733885_1032415780110837_6063067532169257823_o.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9506" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/10733885_1032415780110837_6063067532169257823_o.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="2048" height="1365" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/10733885_1032415780110837_6063067532169257823_o.jpg 2048w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/10733885_1032415780110837_6063067532169257823_o-300x200.jpg 300w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/10733885_1032415780110837_6063067532169257823_o-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/10733885_1032415780110837_6063067532169257823_o-600x400.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Which 3 common fitness myths do you think most women fall prey to?</h2>
<ol>
<li>The most common one is LIFTING WEIGHT WILL MAKE ME MANLY. Lack of knowledge leads to this.</li>
<li>Second one would be I CANNOT USE SUPPLEMENTS, ITS FOR GUYS TO GAIN MUSCLE.</li>
<li>Third I would say is CARDIO MAKES ME LOSE WEIGHT.</li>
</ol>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Give us a brief description of your philosophy on your training routines and on average how long do you workout for?</h2>
<p>My training routine keeps on changing as needed, I am one person who keeps on changing the training pattern to shock the body. On average I train max for 1 hour or 1 hour 15 mins.</p>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta6.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9513" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta6.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="960" height="1152" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta6.jpg 960w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta6-250x300.jpg 250w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta6-853x1024.jpg 853w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta6-600x720.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Do you do much cardio with your training?</h2>
<blockquote><p>I am not a cardio person, but it has to be done. Regular days it&#8217;s 20-25 minutes post weight training and when competition time it&#8217;s 40 minutes on alternate days.</p></blockquote>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What are your 3 favourite exercises?</h2>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">1. Squats</h4>
<p>To get the bikini booty.</p>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">2. Lateral raises</h4>
<p>Delts when I started was my most weakest body part, now it&#8217;s kinda one of my favourite body parts to train.</p>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">3. One arm Dumbell row</h4>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta4.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9511" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta4.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="616" height="724" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta4.jpg 616w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta4-255x300.jpg 255w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta4-600x705.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What are your top training tips for building your glutes and legs?</h2>
<p>You cannot get glutes just by sitting on it. Squat and get what you need.</p>
<blockquote><p>Even if you cannot lift heavy that&#8217;s fine, focus on the contraction and the form. Play with light weight and reps and perform different variations.</p></blockquote>
<p>My all time favourite is Glute bridge.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Favourite male Fitness models or bodybuilders?</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bodybuilder would be: <a href="http://fitnish.com/kaigreenes20replegworkout/">Kai Greene</a></li>

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Favorite female fitness icon(s):</h2>
<ul>
<li>Womens physique: Dana linn bailey</li>
<li>Bikini: Amanda latona, India paulino</li>
<li>Figure: Nicole Wilkins</li>
<li>Bikini Model: Paige Hathway</li>
</ul>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What is the most common question that you get asked?</h2>
<p>Big list, but i&#8217;ll put down few:</p>
<blockquote><p>You eat so much, how come you don’t get fat?</p></blockquote>
<ul>
<li>Eat clean and small portions after specific intervals and not just two big meals (lunch &amp; dinner).</li>
</ul>
<blockquote><p>Even I want to train heavy but I am scared that i will get muscles.</p></blockquote>
<ul>
<li>NO a normal working out girl cannot get muscles that easily, instead you will get toned and strong.</li>
</ul>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta2.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9509" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta2.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="870" height="855" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta2.jpg 870w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta2-300x295.jpg 300w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta2-600x590.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Favorite Quote:</h2>
<blockquote><p>“Dont be afraid of being different, be afraid of being the same as everyone.” <span style="color: #000000;">#CreateYourWorth</span></p></blockquote>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What is the one thing you see people do in the gym or when training which really annoys you?</h2>
<blockquote><p>Not re-racking the plates and dumbbells, its the most annoying thing.</p></blockquote>
<p>At times guys have thrown dumbbells around and I have gone and picked it up and racked it so that they can feel a bit ashamed and sensible enough to re rack it after seeing me do this.</p>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta7.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9514" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta7.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="887" height="1305" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta7.jpg 887w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta7-204x300.jpg 204w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta7-696x1024.jpg 696w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta7-600x883.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 887px) 100vw, 887px" /></a></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">What is your advice to young girls who want to start working out but are afraid to get “too big or bulky?”</h2>
<blockquote><p>Start working out!</p></blockquote>
<p>Once you start seeing the changes you will fall in love with this process.</p>
<p><a href="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta1.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9508" src="http://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta1.jpg" alt="FitNish.com Interview One On One With ESN Sponsored Fitness Athlete From India, Shweta Sakharkar" width="546" height="810" srcset="https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta1.jpg 546w, https://fitnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shweta1-202x300.jpg 202w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px" /></a></p>
